03 Jan Roomers Berlin Steinplatz

From January 1, 2025, the Gekko Group will take over the prestigious hotel on Steinplatz, which will now welcome its guests as Roomers Berlin. A special highlight will be a new restaurant in collaboration with The Duc Ngo, which is set to form the heart of the hotel.

Since its opening in 1913, the building has undergone numerous transformations and has served as a meeting place for artists, intellectuals and celebrities. As part of the rebranding to Roomers Berlin, this historical legacy of the hotel will be preserved and continued through the Gekko Group’s luxury lifestyle concept.

17 Sep Gekko House

In early 2020, the first Gekko House opened in Frankfurt’s Gallusviertel, nearby the fair. On six floors, the new house with 128 rooms and suites is the center for international guests. The design of the hotel was taken over by the Frankfurt team of Morgen Interiors.

On the ground floor, the Berlin BBQ concept Chicago Williams from friend and partner of Gekko Group Nawid Samawat promises “serious barbecuing since 2012”. Both overnight guests and locals enjoy “maximum meat performance” here with ribs, beef brisket and pastrami. As a very special place, the Chicago Beach Rooftop invites you to relax in summer with a view of the Frankfurt skyline.

The new lifestyle hotel boasts over 130 spacious rooms and suites, banquet and conference rooms and a spa. The restaurant and bar on the ground floor lead out on to a patio. The top, fifth floor has a panorama view of the city and the Kurpark and houses a Lounge Bar with roof garden, infinity pool and sun deck.
